Dragons don't wear armor as their scales are their armor. However if all of their scales counted as natural armor that doesn't diminish, dragons would be virtually invincible. Therefore a portion of their scales can be broken off, giving the normal PR and MR that can diminish and the natural PR and MR that can't diminish.

6. Damage Dealing

Dragons don't carry weapons or equipment to attack with. They do, however, possess body parts that could be counted as weapons.

  • Talons/Paws: Attack Power of 4d12, Range of 1, Slashing Attack
  • Tail: Attack Power of 3d10, Range of 4, Bashing Attack
  • Bite: Attack Power of 5d12, Range of 1, 1d6 Roll (6=death), 3 Attacks to use
  • Echo Attack: the Echo Dragon can use all of its attack actions, therefore the Echo Dragon can attack 5 times if each attack only used 1 attack action

Elemental Warrior
Race Ability
Dragons are at one with their element. Therefore, they can empower their physical attacks to also deal magic power damage. This makes their physical attacks take on the properties of their element, applying the Runic Element Effects on Attack. Enemies will treat the whole attack as a physical attack however their Runic Element Effects on Defense will apply. It costs the dragon 5 SA to use this ability.

8. Combat Notes

While not as massive as other dragons, Echo Dragons are still as dangerous, if not even more so. Echo Dragons are incredibly quick despite their size and can use all of their attack actions per round. Their quick speed and great strength allows the echo dragon to tear through almost any who'd dare to disturb it.

Adventurers wishing to take on echo dragons would do well to prepare for a lot of damage and to bring help. However, it is very possible to reason with Echo Dragons, as unlike the Echo Shiff that they share their name with, Echo Dragons simply rather be left alone with their treasure. The cleaver and charismatic adventurer might be able to not only avoid a fight with the echo dragon but also even talk the dragon into parting with a piece of treasure or a small bit of shillings. Of course the Echo Dragon would never agree to do so without something done for it in return.

Echo Dragons take up 3x1 hexes/squares on a battle map due to their large size. Killing a dragon of any type will automatically make all other dragons hostile to you.

9. Spoils

24 pounds of Silver (Echo) Dragon Scale: Make a luck check to see if the dragon leaves behind 2d12 pounds of Silver Dragon Scale.
Alchemical Loot: Echo Dragons can be looted for their eyes, tongues, and blood for use in alchemical potions.
Hoarded Treasure: Dragons like to hoard treasure, especially echo dragons. Once defeated, one could take whatever treasure the echo dragon hoarded. The treasure would be up to the GM, but be careful, some of it might be cursed and some of it might just be shiny junk.
