1. Basic Info

Type: Dragon

Alignment: neutral

Moral Points: 0

Build: N/A

Habitat: Chaos Dragons are typically found in the mountains inhabiting any ancient ruins that may be there.

Appearance: Chaos Dragons are very large dragons that would reach to a height of 25 feet should they stand upright. They possess six individual leathery wings, three on each side, that can be used individually for quick and precise flight or connected together to form two large wings for long distance gliding. They are incapable of long distance flight. Chaos Dragons are covered in scales that possess a color that looks like a steel blue or a metallic purple, depending upon the angle of the light hitting the scales. They also possess a long mane that starts from their head and goes down the length of their spine, ending at the end of their tail. The mane color is light blue at the base but darkens to a deep purple at the tips. Chaos Dragons's tail is equal in length to their body, reaching an additional 25 feet. The only part of their body not covered by scales are their wings. Their eyes are large with the black pupils taking up all visible space. Their snout is long and 'v' shaped with their longer canine fangs protruding outwards from their lips. Their talons are 1 foot long and retractable into their thick, swollen paws. Chaos Dragons must remain on all four legs, unable to stand completely upright due to their large size.

Dragons don't wear armor as their scales are their armor. However if all of their scales counted as natural armor that doesn't diminish, dragons would be virtually invincible. Therefore a portion of their scales can be broken off, giving the normal PR and MR that can diminish and the natural PR and MR that can't diminish.

Flying

Ability
This skill allows for flying at triple movement rates. The dragon can only fly up to 50 miles before having to land. It costs 5 EP to use.
Glide
Dragon Ability
The dragon can either jump from a high place or fly up high and then glide. The dragon can glide triple the distance of height the dragon started the glide from.
Elemental Warrior
Race Ability
Dragons are at one with their element. Therefore, they can empower their physical attacks to also deal magic power damage. This makes their physical attacks take on the properties of their element, applying the Runic Element Effects on Attack. Enemies will treat the whole attack as a physical attack however their Runic Element Effects on Defense will apply. It costs the dragon 5 SA to use this ability.
Crush This is more of an effect of the dragon's size than any ability. Should the dragon fall on or step on a target, there is a 60% chance of crushing the target and therefore instantly killing the target. The target can evade this.

8. Combat Notes

Dragons are massive, intelligent, and dangerous. Chaos Dragons are no different here, though they are larger than most dragons. Their large size and incredible power make chaos dragons very dangerous targets that are best avoided. Chaos Dragons are also more unstable than other dragons are therefore are more likely to attack without hesitation anyone or anything that enters its lair.

The enormous size of the chaos dragon is also its weakness. Chaos Dragons are very unlikely to evade and have no initiative bonuses. If you get a chaos dragon into an area the chaos dragon can barely move in, chaos dragons may be unable to effectively defend or attack. Adventurers wishing to take on chaos dragons would do well to guard against mind effecting attacks and watch out for its tail and mouth. Such adventurers should also take care not to get too close to the chaos dragon or risk being crushed.

Chaos Dragons take up 8x2 hexes/squares on a battle map due to their large size. Killing a dragon of any type will automatically make all other dragons hostile to you.

9. Spoils

50 pounds of Mythril (Chaos) Dragon Scale: Make a luck check to see if the dragon leaves behind 5d10 pounds of Mythril Dragon Scale.
Alchemical Loot: Chaos Dragons can be looted for their eyes, tongues, and blood for use in alchemical potions.
Hoarded Treasure: Dragons like to hoard treasure, even chaos dragons. Once defeated, one could take whatever treasure the chaos dragon hoarded. The treasure would be up to the GM, but be careful, some of it might be cursed and some of it might just be shiny junk.
