Brief History
For as long as it can be remembered, people have always had myths of angels - divine beings that serve a morally good god. These beings are almost always depicted as either guardians, messengers, or warriors and have famously always been drawn with large white wings, silver or white, hair, and a perfect appearance and build. When the angerians were first seen in the centuries after the Great Magic War, and seemed to resemble this idea, many of the people thought that they were angels sent to save them and thusly began calling them as such. When the angerians heard this, they did not correct them, they instead stated that this was truth and that they as a whole were the Angerians, here to save and guide the misguided races of the world. This was almost universally accepted, and it became the identity of the Angerians.
In truth the Angerians are not angels. They are living beings bearing the same flaws as any other race. They originated in islands that once floated high above the surface. There they were known as the secarians. Their wings were simply an evolutionary trait as were their hollow bones to allow for flight among the floating islands. The floating islands were the remains of the great asteroid that slammed into Nor'Ova during the Chalcedon Impact Event. Floating lands with an ancient ruined castle of some kind, these landmasses simply never fell - though no one is sure why that was. There the secarians lived for many generations until the Great Magic War disrupted whatever force was keeping these lands up, and they came crashing down into the Auster Sea. It was the descendants of the survivors that encountered the other races. Having already lived through their own struggles, they were more than happy to be treated as divine beings. Some now-called Angerians would try to be benevolent, while others would take advantage of the situation and their admirers. It has only been two centuries since the Angerians came upon Nor'Ova, and since then they have already been responsible for religious wars and nation-ending scandals.
Positives & Negatives
Angerians have a higher resistance to most poisons and diseases thanks to their higher immunity traite. They also are able to learn and develop slightly faster as illustrated by their XP bonus.. Using their resemblance to religious icons of their name, angerians also have bonuses to their influence and persuasion. However angerians are expected to act a certain way, and often times are surrounded by admiring mobs or the first targets of those with dark intentions. It also doesn't help those angerians that truly want to do good when their own kind misuse others reverence to them.
Thanks to their large wings and hollow bones, Angerians are gifted with flight. However this comes with the fact that their bones break easier and that they suffer more damage than others do. The Angerian's righteous attitude also often times puts them in sticky situations or causes others to become annoyed with them, damaging their relationship with that person.
Angerians also have an interesting quirk, although they can be born under any element, they are limited to only one of the two affinities for each element. They are as follows:
- Earth: Nature - Floramancy
- Air: Sound - Audiomancy
- Water: Desert - Dehydramancy
- Fire: Light - Photomancy
- Life: Spirit - Animancy
- Death: Decay - Seniumancy
- Time: Future - Posteramancy
- Space: Fear - Shadomancy
They excel with healing magic and make great leaders and clerics.

Lifespan
Angerians have three stages of life. The first stage, childhood, last from birth until 15. During this stage the young angerian grows and develops it’s many skills needed for survival. The young angerian stays at home during this stage.
The second stage, adolescent, last from 16 until 24. During this stage the angerian leaves his parents and lives with relatives. This stage is when the angerian learns what it means to be a man or woman.
The final stage, adulthood, last from 25 until death. During this stage the angerian travels the world, looking for a purpose for their life. Death is feared by angerians. They view death as a an end of life, and usually fight it to the very end.
Appearance
Angerians are tall and fit. They look like humans, but with angelic wings. Their wings are usually white, and eyes can be either black, brown, green, or blue. Their hair color can be any shade of blond, any shade of brown, black, or white. They have no body or facial hair. Occasionally an angerian can have black wings. These so called “fallen angels” are so feared that most are put to death the minute they are born. Those who survive have done so because their parents do not wish their death and hide them away from society.
Living Habitat
Angerians can be found all over, and it is common to see an angerian travel.
Food & Sleeping Requirements
Angerians require 3 meals a day consisting of meats and water. They must sleep a full night’s cycle every night or suffer from fatigue.
Culture
Angerians try hard to live out the life that is expected of them by others. Thus they try to be religious and clean. They are monotheistic with most worshiping Kymara, El Anon, or Nikolai. Some of the darker mindset angerians may worship on of the aspects of Zodo.
Angerians take great pride in the family surname which often can be traced back many generations. For first names, Angerians are often named after angels of myth or religious beliefs or heroes of the past.
Angerians as a whole typically can be categorized in one of two mindsets; The Benevolent and The Exploitative. The type of mindsent that they have however affects their relationship with other races and not typically with one another.
Racial Relations
Angerians are revered by all but the dweller elves. Because of this angerians are able to work with most races quite easily. The way they interact with the races depends on their mindset which usually is taught to them as they are developing. It is important to know that an angerian's mindset can change.
The angerians with a benevolent mindset will use their reverence to attempt to guide others into a path that the angerian believes would benefit that person. This is usually a spiritual path, but it could also be in other areas such as development and political. These angerians love the reverence they get from doing this, however when they are alone they fight with the feelings of imposter syndrome.
The angerians with an exploitative mindset will use the others reverence to their own benefit. These angerians will do anything to further their own personal glory and needs, and it is not uncommon to find that they have enslaved someone but done so in a way that makes the slave believe they wanted to be a slave. These angerians are narcissists through and through and feel no real remorse, well at least for most of them.
As stated before the angerian mindset is taught to the angerian as they are still growing. It is possible for a benevolent angerian to become an exploitative angerian, just as it is possible that the exploitative angerian isn't really a narcissist and learns that his or her mindset is harmful and thus becomes a benevolent angerian. What is more likely however is that the angerian will not become the other, but will develop a different mindset altogether.
