This spell is a part of the Time Distortion spell chain and can be found in the Time Distortion rune stone.
Compressed Time squeezed the moments together. Double Time takes the next logical step and simply gives the target two of them.
The posteramancer has been working with time long enough to understand that what most people call a round - that unit of time consisting of action and reaction that combat is measured in - is not a fixed or sacred thing. It is a convention. A way of organizing what is actually a continuous flow into something manageable. And if the convention can be adjusted, if the flow can be shaped by someone who knows how, then there is no particular reason a single round cannot contain twice what it normally would.
When this spell is cast the posteramancer reaches through Doom into the time surrounding the target and doubles it. They are not extending the round for everyone, just for this one person, folding twice the available time into the space they occupy. The target moves twice. Attacks twice. Casts two spells, or completes a spell that would normally take two rounds in the space of one (2 rounds of runic speed in 1 round of time). Every action they could take in a round they may take twice, the compressed double-time flowing around them while the rest of the battlefield continues at its normal pace. They also gain +5 to Evasion, moving at double speed through time means being significantly harder to catch in the moment you are actually present. This spell cannot be stacked. The posteramancer who tries to cast it twice on the same target will find Doom uninterested in the request, and may even freeze the posteramancer in time for trying such an action - a reaction the posteramancer already understands as a possibility. Time can be doubled, but it will not be tripled for anyone. Some limits even Doom respects. Use of this spell doesn't bring the posteramancer closer to their doom, however it does leave them with a round of anxiety afterwards, the what-if dwelling within their mind.
