This spell is a part of the Bio Instability spell chain and is found in the Bio Instability rune stone.

The Worm is always hungry. This is its defining quality, the thing the seniumancer learns first and never forgets. The Worm wants, and what it wants is to consume, to break down, to reduce all things to their component parts and feed upon the process. It is patient in the way that hunger is patient, which is to say it is not patient at all, merely willing to wait because it knows the meal is not going anywhere. But patience and pleasure are different things entirely. And on rare occasions, when the seniumancer has mastered their craft enough to ask this of it, The Worm does something it almost never does. It slows down.

When the seniumancer casts The Worm's Pleasure they are not asking The Worm to consume efficiently. They are giving it permission to enjoy itself. The Worm responds to this with something that, in a force without a face or a voice, can only be described as delight. It descends upon the target not as a rush of rot but as something deliberate and unhurried, running its presence slowly across the target's body, finding the surface and beginning its work there. It starts with the skin first, breaking down layer by layer with excruciating patience, the process drawn out to a length that makes the damage almost secondary to the experience of enduring it. Each round the target suffers 8d12 magical damage as The Worm takes its time, and the sheer overwhelming nature of what is being done to them limits them to only the simplest responses. The target cannot use skills or spells requiring more than half their casting speed, nothing beyond tier 2 in complexity as the mind too consumed by what the body is enduring to manage anything more demanding. The Worm does not hurry. It has been given permission not to. It will finish when it is finished, and not a moment before.

The seniumancer watches. They too have learned, by now, to take a kind of satisfaction in the thoroughness of what they have cultivated. The Worm's pleasure, after all this time, has become something they understand.
