Find and Create Character Profiles here

Creating a character profile is the first thing you need to do to be able to participate in on going RP threads or to start your own RP story here. Therefore it is important to understand how to create a character.

You should also know that you are not limited in any way to the number of characters you wish to create and can (are encouraged to) create profiles for your NPC's or minor characters as well. In order to create a character, simply follow the following guide.

• Step 1: Click on the  Create a character profile link given at the bottom of this post.
• Step 2: Fill out the form and save it.

And that's it really. The profile method is both simple and effective. Below is a description of the fields for you.

Completing the Character Profile

We understand that you might have some questions regarding how to complete the character profile form. Here we will explain what is on the form to help you better understand what is needed.

Character Name: This is the name of your character. It can be whatever you like but we do hope that it will be original.

Race: Here is where you tell us what your character's race is. We have a large number of races. We strongly encourage you to choose one of our races, however, we understand that you might not find a race that best fits the character you want to create. In that case we will allow you to create your own race (or use your own race). We do however desire to speak to you about it before you can play the character though so if you use your own race please send mythus a PM.

Profession: Here is where you can list what kind of occupation (or occupations) your character has. This special field will always add one extra field below so that if you have more than one occupation you can list them all. This field is completely optional.

Runic Element: What is your character's Runic Element? Every Nor'Ovan has a runic element, so you should pick one even if you do not plan to have your character use magic. For more information, please refer to the page on Runic Elements. If you don't pick one, your character will automatically be assigned "Earth".

Age: How old is your character? If you want to you can even tell us how old your character appears to be.

Gender: What is the gender of your character? Male, Female, something else?

Height & Weight: Here you will tell us how tall your character is and how heavy your character is. While we prefer you to use US Imperial measurements, if you use any other measurements try to include what it might be in US Imperial measurements as well.

Description: Here we want you to describe what your character looks like.

Character Portrait: Here you can upload a picture of your character!

Personality: Here you need to tell us basically how your character behaves and acts. What sets off your character? What is your character passionate about? What is your character most afraid of?

Equipment and Goods: This optional field allows you to list and describe any and all equipment and goods your character has. This is completely optional.

Abilities: Here you can list any special abilities and/or spells your character has. This field is completely optional.

Brief History: This is the one field that is not required but we would like it if you could include it. Please tell us a bit about the past history of your character. It is okay if you don't have that yet and want to work on it. If you have a thread here that tells about your character's history or a story posted elsewhere about your character and want to share a link to it here, you are free to do so.
