An elf in deep blue robes sits in a chair at a local eatery, Mel's. Before him was a large window opening out to the crowded Plaza of Arcana, in downtown Phercia. It was a busy plaza where some of the oldest shops and structures of the city were, including the College Arcana. Niel, however, wasn't gazing upon the awe inspiring architecture of the prestigious college, nor was he captivated by the goings and comings of the Plaza's crowds. No, he was nose deep, as they say, into his notebook. Even his cup of coffee had grown cold, barely drank while the elf remained lost in his own thoughts.
'Yes, it is a remarkable building,' he wrote in his notebook, 'truly one that may have even competed with the College or even the Palace with grandeur. But that doesn't explain why they took it. The Grand Temple of Kymara was here ever since Phercia was just a small settlement. It and the city had grown together. To be so easily changed by this upstart religion'.
The elf slammed his notebook on the table as he let out loudly, "It simply is inexcusable!" The slamming motion caused his still mostly full coffee cup to fall unceremoniously to the floor, at which a very distraught server ran up to take care of the newly created mess. "Sir, do you wish a new cup of coffee?" The elf doesn't even look to see who is speaking, "Yes yes, that's fine." He lays out two shillings, "this will suffice, no?"

Niel finishes his second cup of coffee, or maybe it was his third - to be honest he had lost count. Writing in his notebook, the elf scribes, 'The Church of Arcana, barely a week old, was started out of the College Arcana and has just laid claim to the grandest temple in Phercia, the Temple of Kymara.' He stands and sighs, "I need to find out just what this Church of Arcana even is."
Laying a few more shillings on the table, the elf walks out into the plaza, muttering to himself, "But, where to start? Do I go to the Temple first?" His eyes move from the once Temple of Kymara to the College, "Nay, I should go to the source, and try to get an educated answer." And with that Niel made his way through the crowds of the plaza...
