Greetings and welcome to the Legends of Nor'Ova forums!
We will be using the forums for a free-form post-to-play RP. You will create your characters as separate sub accounts and use those accounts to post and play here.
I will provide over time stripped down versions of the same information that you can find in our parent site, Legends of Nor'Ova's Encyclopedia. The parent site is the ruleset and information used for playing the game as a tabletop RPG (TTRPG) similar to D&D. It uses dice and stats while the forum will not use dice or stats. The forum will be more or less for shared story writing. Here you can participate and craft stories within the world of Nor'Ova. I aim to keep it pretty open and free - minimal rules with the only rules being used to keep it a safe place, keep it fair, and keep it within Nor'Ova.
The TTRPG, Legends of Nor'Ova, will be kicking off on Roll20 here soon. There will be a link from the main website to there. I may also include that link here. There you would be able to participate in the full game, rules and all, should you wish to. But for here, I want to focus on story. I also want the story to be player driven. I will help with the main world lore stuff, but feel free to craft your own nor'ovan stories here.
For the forums I have tried to make it as accessible as possible. I'm using the latest phpbb software, with mods to make it user friendly such as a post editor that doesn't require knowing any bbcode. It is also responsive, so it should work well from your phone.
