Conceived as a compromise for allowing personal protection without allowing for heavy potential gun related carnage, the modern revolver can dispense multiple bullets in a single shot and pack a punch. There is one nationally supported company that is noted for making top quality revolvers.
Johnson Revolvers: a Maya Province based company started by a human and with a human history. With "Mighty Johnson" as their catchphrase, they've become the supplier of the police force standard issue weapon: The CR 1 Revolver. Johnson Revolvers are powerful and reliable. Johnson Revolvers produce 4 models of their revolvers. CR stands for carbine revolver, back from a time when other revolver types existed.
The CR 1 Revolver
Also known as the Town Crier, this is a standard issue 6-round revolver, commissioned for use by police forces all over Nor'Ova. The CR 1 is a relatively small caliber revolver with high accuracy and low recoil. They are typically used by law enforcement to shoot kneecaps and hands in order to incapacitate criminals. It uses the CR type 1 ammo form factor.

This is a heavier type of revolver. It is generally used by those who aim to do more than incapacitate. The CR 2 does have more recoil but doesn't lose anything in accuracy. It uses the CR type 2 ammo.

This is the heaviest of the CR revolvers. It's accuracy is less than the other CR revolvers, it is less durable, and it has a higher recoil. Where it excels however is its power. It uses the CR type 3 ammo.

CR Gladiator
What's better than having just a revolver? A revolver that is also a sword. The CR Gladiator delivers in this department. The Gladiator is basically a sword blade with a close range 4-shot revolver embedded into the holt, with the barrel replacing part of the crossguard. When firing, the sword blade would face towards the sky. The CR Gladiator has become a favorite of pirates due to its relative ease in switching between revolver and sword, of which the hand position is nigh identical. Many CR Gladiators are made purely as decorative pieces, with some looking fancy enough to be used in parades or ballroom dances for the Xeno City upper class. It uses the CR type 1 ammo.
