Plains Elf Positives and Negatives

Plains Elves are excellent hunters bearing keen eye sight that allows them to see a mile away under good conditions, and keen hearing that allows them to hear the slightest whisper. Plains elves also have a good sense of smell. By using their sense of smell, and knowing the difference between smells, they are able to ‘sniff-out’ what is coming, out to ‘sniff-out’ their prey. Plains elves get along good with other elves, besides wood and dark elves, as well as frontier humans. They however dislike oddities and dark races.

Appearance

Plains elves are tall and skinny. Their skin is tanned and slightly red, and have ears that measure to be about 2” long. Their hair color is black, and eye color is brown.

Living Habitat

Plains elves are nomadic and can be found roaming the plains of Nor’Ova. It is common to see a plains elf travel.

Plains Elf Culture

Plains elves are very nomadic. They celebrate the hunt and life itself but usually do not stay in one place to long. Because they are always on the move their celebrations if they have them are short but meaningful.

Plains Elves do not use last names. Instead, when referring to themselves, they will often give you their first name followed by “son of” and their father's name. First names typically reflect nature in some way or form.

Plains Elf Racial Relations

Plains Elves get along well with most other elves except the dark elf and the spirit elf. They have a hatred for the dark elf but just a general distrust for the spirit elf. They get along OK with humans. Their relationships with talusians and deztunians really depends upon the individual and they are highly distrustful of the xodian. No elf, especially plains elves, can get along with any dwarf. Their relationships with the beast men is similar to their relationships with humans. They are leery of the races of lore, especially the fae. They usually steer clear of reptilian races and yeti.
