Crusaders are holy knights crusading for their deity. They are the shining warrior chasing away the darkness
Crusaders are a combo profession of Warrior and Cleric, and require you to have a positive morality.
Requirements for Crusader
In order to open up the Crusader combo profession, you need to meet the following requirements:
- At least level 3 of Melee Proficiency from Warrior.
- At least level 2 of Spiritual Glow from Cleric.
- More light morality points than dark morality points, giving you a "good" alignment

Character Point Rate
Crusaders are holy warriors. Strength and Will is the way to go for them.The Crusader's character point rate is:
- Mental x 0.01; with an additional +0.2 for every level obtained in Benevolent Blade (total of +0.8 bonus possible).
- A crusader who gets all 4 levels of Infallible Dogma gets to roll a 1d% increased by Mental as a percentage for extra character points.
- A crusader who gets all 4 levels of Dogmatic Convictions gets to roll 2d% increased by Mental as a percentage for extra character points.
- A crusader who gets at least 1 level in every crusader skill gets their End of Session Bonus as extra character points.
- A crusader's End of Session Bonus rate is your character point rate increased by 1/2 Will. So if your character point rate is 1.5 and your Will is 60, you would take 1.5 x 30 to get 45 extra character points at the end of the session. The GM can of course reward extra character points based on role playing.

A crusader is an warrior priest. For a crusader, any skill listed below has its character point cost cut in half as well as the skills from the primary profession.

Crusader Growth
As you develop and master skills within your crusader profession, you will become a more capable crusader. Each set of skills mastered will increase your tier level in your profession, which in turn will provide you with more benefits.
Tier 1: Basic Crusader
This is the tier level you start out as. The starting bonuses listed earlier apply here.
Tier 2: Novice Crusader
To reach this tier, you must acquire all of the skills in the benevolent blade skill chain at level 1. As a novice crusader you benefit from the following bonuses:
- Melee Power increased by 10% will.
- +0.2 to Character Point Rate
Tier 3: Skilled Crusader
To reach this tier, you must acquire all of the skills in the benevolent blade skill chain at level 2. As a skilled crusader you benefit from the following bonuses:
- Fortitude increased by 10% will.
- Melee Power increased by 10% Speed.
- +0.2 to Character Point Rate
Tier 4: Master Crusader
To reach this tier, you must acquire all of the skills in the benevolent blade skill chain at level 3. As a master crusader you benefit from the following bonuses:
- Hit Chance increased by 10%.
- +0.2 to Character Point Rate
- Endurance increased by 10% will
- Vitality increased by 10% will
