This spell is a part of the Air's Constant Flow spell chain and can be found in the Air's Constant Flow rune stone.

Haste is a spell that the aeromancer may have learned earlier. It was an evolution of their childhood games of running faster, empowered by their connection to the West Wind. With Haste, the West Wind showed that it could carry someone faster than they'd ever move on their own, smoothly enough that most people receiving it barely noticed the moment it took hold. None would think to look elsewhere for a spell like haste. None would even consider the Tornado. The aeromancer did. Having grown not only in connection but also understanding, the aeromancer knows that no wind is faster than that of the Tornado. If that speed could be harnessed, it would make for a spell even more effective than Haste. That spell became Tornado's Swiftness. Like Haste it would offer great speed, however this time it would come without the gentleness of the West Wind's hand.

Nothing seems to happen at first. There's no rush of wind, no visible change, nothing to mark that the spell worked - not until someone caught in it actually tries to move. Then the illusion breaks all at once: they aren't running anymore so much as arriving, flickering from where they stood to wherever they meant to be in something closer to a blink than a stride, gone and already there before the eye can properly track the space between. It isn't graceful. It isn't meant to be. Movement rates triple for everyone caught up in it, the Speed stat itself doubling on top of that - the aeromancer and every ally standing with them, all moving faster than the body has any real business moving. Beyond the raw speed, the Tornado's restlessness spills into everything else too: an extra action of every kind, for everyone, each round, and an Evasion bonus equal to half the aeromancer's own Arcana, shared out to the whole group without being asked twice.

It's a stranger gift to receive than Haste ever was - allies who take it sometimes admit, afterward, that it unsettled them a little, watching their own bodies move in flashes rather than steps. But no one complains about the results, and the aeromancer has learned not to promise it'll feel pleasant. Only that it works.
