This spell is a part of the Air's Constant Flow spell chain and can be found in the Air's Constant Flow rune stone.
Translucence let the aeromancer become like the air in part - a shape still there for anyone patient enough to look hard for it, softened at the edges but never quite gone. Transparency finishes what that first trick started. This time there's no soft blur left to catch the eye at all. Where the aeromancer stood a moment ago, there is now, to any eye looking for them, simply nothing - no fading, no half-seen outline, nothing that says a person is standing there at all.
Only the very edge of them gives anything away, and only to someone who already knows to look: the faintest bend of light where their silhouette used to be, the way air ripples over a hot stone in summer. Finding the aeromancer this way takes an Impossible Perceive check, worsened further by distance (-2 for every space, 3 feet, between watcher and target) and made hopeless entirely in the dark (-10, on top of everything else) - sight, on its own, simply has nothing left to find. But a body is still a body, even one the eye can't hold onto. Every sound made, every careless movement, chips 3 points off however hard the aeromancer is to find, one occurrence at a time - a dragged foot, a knocked-over cup, a sharp breath. Being unseen was never the same thing as being silent, and Transparency was never meant to solve both at once. The aeromancer is experienced enough to know this, and to be careful not to do anything that would get them noticed.Â
It fades after 1d10 hours, same as Translucence before it, and the aeromancer returns to being exactly as visible - and exactly as loud - as anyone else.
Armor Effect: Transparency
Enemy Perceive Checks have a penalty of 1d12.
