- Installs a communication crystal into an item.
- Must be crafted and installed in pairs, both items must receive a crystal at the same time.
- The paired crystals allow short range communication (up to 200 spaces or 1,000 feet) between the two items' wearers.
- Communication is voice only and requires the wearer to focus for 1 round (10 seconds) to initiate contact.
- Crystals are permanently paired at time of installation and cannot be re-paired.
- Requires the Runic Tech Upgrade skill to install.
- Installs a mage light into any item; a helmet, staff, bracer, ring, or any other object.
- The mage light functions identically to a purchased Mage Light item, producing light equivalent to the wearer's magic power.
- The light can be toggled on and off as a free action.
