- Runic energy is woven into the weapon's striking surface, adding Arcana in dice format to attack value on every hit.If your Arcana is a 2, it is 1d3. If your Arcana is 4 it is 1d4. If your Arcana is 7, it is 1d8, for example. Negative Arcana Values decrease damage by dice format. An arcana of -2 adds no dice format while an Arcana of -3 adds -1d3 and an Arcana of -4 adds -1d4.
