If you need to board an animal companion while you venture somewhere they cannot follow, The Livery can accommodate that too, for a nominal fee of 10 shillings per animal per day.
Animal companions are not fighters or party members. They do not have stats, and they cannot truly be killed. They are, however, loyal and useful, offering their owners a range of practical benefits depending on the species. You may own as many animal companions as you like, though you can only bring two with you at any given time.
