Profession: Entertainer
Starting Gear: Silk shirt, silk pants, musical instrument of choice

Pay Rate: 

  • 1/2 of your Luck in shillings for every dance or singing skill you use in battle, after the battle is won.
  • Every live performance grants you Luck x 25 in shillings

Weapon & Armor Types:

3) Profession Level Progression

Entertainers practice the art of performance. They learn skills that hone their musical and dancing abilities.

All characters get the following by leveling up regardless of profession:

  • Each level up you get your secondary gen dice rolls for Vitality, Soul, and Power.
  • Each level up you get 1d4 stat points
  • Each level up you get 1d6 trait points
  • You can acquire 1 skill of choice in or out of profession.
  • At level 1 you have an initial 1d6 trait points that you can assign as desired
  • Your profession will also provide bonuses when you level up
  • You can start with 1 spell, and gain a new spell on every odd number level whether you are a runic mage or not.

Entertainers gain the following through leveling up every other level:

Deals double runic power + 1d6 magic damage. Returns 20% of damage dealt to self and allies to heal Vitality.

Damaging Shrill

Increases movement by 1d12 for those around you for 1 hour.

Sickening Tones

Roll a 1d6 for every enemy target in the affected area. 6 = death. Roll a 1d20 for every ally in the affected area. 1 = death. 

Runic Sonata

Healing Tones 8 Soul anyone within a 4x4 space area instant Hard Perform

Restore vitality of everyone in the affected area, allies and enemies, by 1d12.

Purifying Tones

Those in a 3x3 area around you have to make hard luck checks for their spells to work intended for the next 1d6 rounds. 

Backwards Waltz

Grants everyone in the affected area a 1d20 modifier to Vitality and a +2 to Vitality Save for 1 hour.

Cantata for Battle

Lullaby 2 Soul anyone within a 4x4 space area until awaken Easy Perform -2

Puts any in affected area asleep until something wakes them up or 1 hour passes. This can be resisted with a normal stamina check.
