This page will give a brief run down on the various languages found on Nor'Ova.

1) The Most Common Languages

Chalcepheran: This is the common language, the language of trade within the countries that reside on the continent of Chalcephera. It is also found in other lands outside of Chalcephera as well, especially in their port cities and cities of trade. Chalcephera is the national language of the Kingdom of Auphera. 

Miden: This is the language of the Miden Shelf, of the dwarves  and of those who dwell within the high lands of the world. 

Elhidrian: This is the language of the elves and of the fae folk. 

Xodian: This is the language of xodians and of scribes. It is a language of strict rules that never changes. Therefore while technically being a dead language, it is still used to this day by those who want to label something with a word who's meaning will never change. The xodian used to this day is known as modern xodian. There is a far older form known as ancient xodian who's words have long been forgotten.

Pidgin: This is not a real language per say, but a language that came about out of necessity. It is a trade language formed around similar words and meanings to help with trade between people who speak different languages. The words are short and simple and their meanings and easily identifiable. 

Nadirian: The Low Speech, this is the language of goblins and imps.

2) Uncommon Languages

Asterian: The language of a long lost country that was in the northwest of Chalcephera. Asterian is still sometimes found in the religious books of devotees of El Anon.

Dragon Speech: This is the language of dragons, and only dragons are capable of speaking it. 

Ascian: The language of a lost country and the forgotten tongue of the Spirit Elf. 

Austerian: An ancient language found in the ancient ruins of the Auster Lands.
