Crafting Tools are the tools that you need to do your craft. These are the tools you will use to make or repair your own weapons, armor, or general goods. Here you will find all of the tools that you need to preform any kind of black smithing, tailoring, or wood working.
Without the tools found here you would not be able to use your crafting skills to make or repair anything. So if you have a crafting ability, such as “Basic Construction” or “Basic Metal Smithing” and you wish to use them you will need to get the appropriate tools found here. You will even need tools for the skill “Repair” because you cannot simply repair an item by rolling your dice and hoping.
However you do not need to go and buy everything found here. If you only want to make leather armor and repair leather gear, then it would be pointless to have metal working tools. So you should choose carefully and purchase the tools that you need. If you find you need different tools later you can always return to your hardware store and purchase them.
