1) Starting Bonuses and Penalties
You already know that playing as an entertainer grants you 60 character points at character creation. However these are not the only benefit an entertainer receives.

4) Character Point Rate
Entertainers practice the art of performance. They learn skills that hone their musical and dancing abilities.
The Entertainer's character point rate is:
- Mental x 0.01; with an additional +0.2 for every level in either Sickening Tones, Relaxing Tones, or Tap Dance past level 1 (total of +0.6 bonus possible). Must choose which skill to base the bonus on.
- An entertainer who gets all skills in either Sickening Tones, Relaxing Tones, or Tap Dance skill chain at level 1 gets to roll a 1d% increased by Mental as a percentage for extra character points.
- An entertainer who gets all skills in either Sickening Tones, Relaxing Tones, or Tap Dance skill chain at level 4 gets to roll 2d% increased by Mental as a percentage for extra character points.
- An entertainer who gets at least 1 level in every entertainer skill gets their End of Session Bonus as extra character points.
- An entertainer's End of Session Bonus rate is your character point rate increased by 1/2 Speed. So if your character point rate is 1.5 and your Speed is 60, you would take 1.5 x 30 to get 45 extra character points at the end of the session. The GM can of course reward extra character points based on role playing.
5) Skills
An entertainer makes use of skills to entertain and to smooth talk others. Any skill that is listed below will have its cost cut in half.

7) Entertainer Growth
As you develop and master skills within your entertainer profession, you will become a more capable entertainer. Each set of skills mastered will increase your tier level in your profession, which in turn will provide you with more benefits.
7.1) Tier 1: Basic Entertainer
This is the tier level you start out as. The starting bonuses listed earlier apply here.
7.2) Tier 2: Novice Entertainer
To reach this tier, you must acquire all of the skills a singing or dancing skill chain at level 1. As a novice entertainer you benefit from the following bonuses:
- Add 10% of Will to Will as a modifier.
- 5% reduction in costs at all shops.
- +0.2 to Character Point rate
7.3) Tier 3: Skilled Entertainer
To reach this tier, you must acquire all of the skills a singing or dancing skill chain at level 2. As a skilled entertainer you benefit from the following bonuses:
- +10 to Speed and React as modifiers
- +10 to EP and SA as modifiers
- Given 2d% in shillings by adoring fans each time you arrive at a new town or every visit to a town after you had left that town.
- +0.25 to Character Point rate in towns where you are famous (only when in those towns).
- +0.2 to Character Point rate
7.4) Tier 4: Master Entertainer
To reach this tier, you must acquire all of the skills a singing or dancing skill chain at level 3. As a master entertainer you benefit from the following bonuses:
- Add 10% of Perceive to Perceive as a modifier
- Humanoid characters of neutral alignments and opposite gender will not attack you, with a 20% chance that they will instead defend you.
- Shillings gained at the end of battle per use of singing or dancing skill is increased by 50%.
- +0.2 to Character Point rate
8) Combo Professions
With some professions, once you reach a certain point in character development, you can open up a combo profession. This combo profession would allow you to to learn new skills and gain new bonuses along with your main profession. Entertainer can open into the following combo professions: Blade Dancer.
- Blade Dancer: Blade Dancer is a combo profession of Warrior and Entertainer following the dancing skill set.
Combo Professions is a new profession that grants you new skills and abilities. When you are able to go into a combo profession you continue to follow your main profession and the combo profession in regards to what skills are in profession and profession growth. The other professions that are apart of the combo profession offer no benefit.
